Family and Individual Programs

For the month of August we offer an array of programs for individuals and Families.

August Family Adventure Camping

In addition to having a private family friendly campsite, each camper over the age of 5 is required to participate in an adventure program .

Programs include:

  • High Ropes and Leap of Faith
  • Climbing and Rappelling
  • Kayaking
  • Stand Up Paddle Boarding
  • Guided Hikes

Prices:
Campsite: $60 + GST per family (up to 2 tents)
Cabin: $130 + GST per family (sleeps up to 12)
Yurt: $120 + GST  per family (sleeps up to 10)

Mandatory Activity Fee:
$28 + GST per person (over the age of 5)*
$50 + GST per person for a private activity fee

*others may join your program, it is recommended that you book these activities with us before you arrive.

Drop In August Programs

$35 for 2 hour session of any of the following programs:

  • Kayaking
  • High Ropes and Leap of Faith
  • Rock Climbing and Rappelling
  • Stand Up Paddle Boarding
  • Guided Hikes

Session Times:

10:00-12:00
1:00-3:00
4:00-6:00

Registration for Drop in Programs at 9:30, 12:30 and 3:30 at the centre kiosk (40 metres down driveway) or call 250 650 2015.

First come first serve – pre-booking is preferable. Please call 250 650 2015 or email info@tribunebayoutdoored.ca to book.

Other Camps Offered

Residential Camp – Each summer we host a week long summer camp for youth finishing grades 4-6. Registrations happens through Courtenay Recreation Centre – please find this camp in their Summer Recreation Guide

Deaf Camps – We partner with Family Network for Deaf Children to host a Family Deaf Camp (register with us), as well as a week long camp for deaf youth (register with DYT through FNDC) – please find more information and registration information at the FNDC website

Camp Hornby – This a family camp is for individuals who are blind or partially sighted and is hosted in partnership with Camp Hornby Society and Blind Beginnings – please contact and register with Blind Beginnings.
